SINCE 2000
My Philosophy

How I Started:

I began making herbal soap in the year 2000. I was inspired by a trip to Montana in the late 90's where I purchased my first bar of herbal soap made the old fashioned way, with lye. Then I attended a few classes, made a few batches of soap which were a total disaster, and decided to keep making it till it was perfect.
I wanted to create a soap that would nourish the skin, not contain detergents, last a long time, and fit into everyone's budget.
My soap is made with pure ingredients, no detergents, no animal products, no chemicals. Every bar of my soap has a medicinal or cleansing or soothing property. I have discontinued using man made synthetic fragrances in exchange for essential oils and the natural fragrance of the herb or vegetable that is in the bar.
My soap nourishes the skin. I use the herbs and plants that are grown here in KY in my herb garden or from local farms only. I scent my soaps with essential oils and infused olive oil .
In addition to my lye soap, my product line also includes my natural Body Cream, Daytime Facial Cream, Healing Salves and Healing OIls, Crocheted Items for the Home, Seasonal Candles, Homegrown Herbs and Spice Powders.
